Snack and Lunch

Your child will need a healthy lunch and two (2) healthy snacks everyday.  Eating healthy will allow your child to obtain the energy he/she needs to learn and play all day.  Junk foods like pop tarts, cookies, chips, and sodas are strongly discouraged.  Candy is not allowed.  Please pack plenty of water as your child will be outside a few times a day and will be very active throughout the day.  LABLE ALL WATER BOTTLES WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME.

Thank you for helping us to maintain a peanut-free environment.

Donations

We always welcome donations of any sort to our program.  Materials for arts and crafts, cleaning supplies, and volunteer hours are very much appreciated!

Parent Involvement

Parents are always encouraged to come and spend time with their children.  Take a few minutes to connect with your child before leaving.  You are welcome to join them on the playground, in their classroom, in the library or anywhere you feel comfortable.  It’s a special treat when you join them for lunch.  We will often need volunteers to assist with special events and accompany the older children on their field trips to the beach.  If you would like to join us on these outings, please speak with your child’s teacher or Rita as they come up.
